Its patented reverse indexing pawl allows for easier loading and unloading, while the traditional beveled cylinder simplifies holstering. The transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock provide an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge. The Vaquero also has a traditional western-style, hand-filling grip and a cold hammer-forged barrel. This model has a 5.5" barrel with a blued metal finish and a rosewood grip.
